Where can I find a painter now?

I’ve recently taken over a Victorian conversion near Clapham, and frankly, the interior is a bit of a disaster. The previous tenants were there for nearly a decade, and the walls are covered in scuffs, fading wallpaper, and some questionable DIY patch jobs. I really want to get it back on the market by next month, but I simply don't have the time to handle the stripping and priming myself. Does anyone have experience with a crew that handles period properties with care? I’m looking for a finish that actually adds value to the property rather than just a quick "landlord special" coat of white paint.

Period homes definitely require a specific touch, especially when dealing with older plasterwork and ornate cornices. Last spring, I decided to outsource my entire renovation to a team of dedicated painters and decorators in London who specialize in high-end residential finishes across the city. They were incredibly meticulous with the prep work, which is where most people cut corners, and the final result was absolutely flawless. Using professionals saved me weeks of manual labor and the headache of dealing with paint spills on the original hardwood floors. I’d highly recommend going the professional route if you want it done right the first time.
